Pic of me

Howdy, Neighbor! I'm Ira Ray Jenkins, a Senior Software Engineer at Talkiatry, a leading nationwide online psychiatry practice. I specialize in leveraging technology to enhance access to mental health services for patients while streamlining workflows for providers. I design and maintain both patient and provider-facing frontends, alongside backend platform services and internal tools that optimize the delivery of high-quality, efficient mental health care.

Previously, I was a full-stack software engineer at Creare, an engineering research and development firm, where I contributed to cutting-edge R&D projects involving software, firmware, and hardware in multiple fields spanning audiometrics, neurocognitive assessment, mobile health, geospatial analytics, image processing, and laser metrology.

In a former life, I was a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Dartmouth College. I studied security, privacy, and trust in the TrustLab with Sean Smith and Sergey Bratus.

Before coming to New England, I received my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science at Florida State University.
